In the Haarlemmeerstraat and Haarlemmerdijk are a lot of small cafes and restaurants. This Italian style cafe is one of the nicest in the street. Love the sandwiches with a coffee.

I had read so much about it I was expecting to see Italian staff but to my surprise they were Chinese pehaps they should change the name as it is not very genuine is it? The sandwiches were good but being Italian myself I expected Italian staff.

Came here for breakfast one morning, nice selection of tasty sandwiches and great coffee. Chocolate croissants are a must! Downside is that you can pay cash only.

Stopped to grab something to munch on the train to the Hague. Only after I scarfed down the two slices of lemon cake did I regret not buying more. So damn good. The other food they had was also very tssty and decently priced.

This restaurant was just down from our hotel. Staff were so nice and friendly and the food was delicious. The menu is extensive and all the food was made to order. Their handmade burger was so succulent and the side salad was crisp and fresh with a mouth watering dressing.

Sometimes you just want a quick, good cup of coffee to start off the morning. Il Tramezzino was the right place. The service was fast and friendly even for my unusual request of whip cream on top which made the guy question me then we laughed together. A good kick starter for walking the wonderful neighborhood around the shop.

We just popped in for a cappucino and expresso . The best I had in my two weeks holiday in Holland. According to the owner it is the coffee is imported from Italy.
