Almost a complete waste of time. Horrid service, so-so coffee, marginal everything including the special "atmosphere" that was eluded to by many other reviews. So let's go step by step including the pluses for the establishment. Location: Outstanding. Outside seating, nice view, on the canal,...More

If you want to relax having a picturesque view of the canal Prinsengracht, this coffeeshop is worth your attention. I sat there with my friends having a coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. The atmosphere is calm and friendly, some good music is played which...More

This came highly recommended by some in the TA forum for beginners or people who would like to try smoking. The lady at the counter is super nice and it's a very chill and low key place. This is not like some of the 420...More

We stumbled upon this cafe when we taking a stroll around the neighborhood. We got ourselves a cappuccino and people watched. Right by a canal in a beautiful neighborhood, extremely chill and non assuming. Would definitely go back!

Traveling along the peaceful western canals of the Yordan district, specifically on the west side of "The 9 Street District" - is one of my favorite strolls in this city. For a relaxed, quiet and happy break, point yourself to this specific coffeeshop, whether you're...More

We stumbled upon this place while cycling the back streets and canals. It's on a corner block, next to a leafy street overlooking the canal in the Jordaan district, a trendy, artists area of Amsterdam. The whole coffee shop has a great vibe, very green...More

I must say that we are absolut beginners and I don't have comparisons. But the service was non existing. To go to the cashier order what you want and that's it. The ladies were not specially friendly actually they didn't talk at all.

Much more of a relaxed local feel to this place. Its run by a mother and daughter who make fresh food, I only had a toastys for 3 euros which were tasty. Reggae was playing in the background and lots of plants/flowers inside, it was...More

If your looking for a quiet place to sit out by the canal and relax with your favourite smoke, followed by a nice toasty then this place has you covered. Alternatively they have a good sized seating area inside. The top floor consists of diner...More

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.
