Called in for a quick late lunch, food was simple but very fresh and good quality, for example crusty warm baguettes with our omelettes were excellent. Service fast and friendly.

For a big appetite we always go to broodje Bert. They have great sandwiches. I love the warm ones. And if we’re lucky we can sit outside enjoying the view on the canal.

I always make the pilgrimage to Bert’s when in Amsterdam and was wowed as usual. I had the roast beef and cheese with no bread. Absolutely delicious and so fresh. Would recommend and will return again next time! Thanks
