Went to Argentinos on 3rd April at 1830 hrs...... what a mistake! Served very raw chicken as part of the special mixed grill. The waitress initially took away my plate and brought it back 5 minutes later minus the raw chicken and said that more chicken was on its way. I said that i did not want any more chicken... More

The steak that i had was great. I tried the bife de Lomo, because I like my steaks soft and lean, and I have no regrets, the Steak was Perfect! the service is good too and they are quick as well. Would defenitely come back when I am in the neigbourhood for a delicious meal.

We were looking for a steak at a reasonable price, spotted this place on the main drag, offer in the window said steak, chips and salad for about £10, so we took the risk, it was busy so we had to wait for a table, we ordered, got a small 200g steak chips and salad, and it tasted just great,... What a great little steakhouse, brilliant staff, great beer and the steak was 100% perfect. There are many Argentinian Steak Houses but I can not recommend this one enough, my meal was great, I would suggest probably one of the best meals or steaks I have had out side of the USA, Cooked to my liking as requested, great choice... Walking down the street deciding where we should go. lots of Argentinian steak houses. You stop too long and somebody will pop out of the restaurant and ask you how many are you in the group and usher you in. Few groups can resist. We needed little persuasion as this restaurant looked nice inside and there were people in there... More

So many restaurants to choose from in this area - we were hungry so just went in & they had a table for 2. Fast, fairly impersonal service but was fine. House wine was good The steak I had was magnificent. The cheapest one on the menu too. Tender & pink. Perfect. Nice salad. My friends chicken could have been... More

After walking past 100's of Argentinean steak restaurants we only went into this dingy looking one as all the nice shiny ones were too busy.. not expecting a lot, wow we were wrong. The BEST steak all 4 of us have EVER had! Really nice staff, really reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

We needed a quick meal before flying home. Three of us were shown in and seated quickly. We ordered the mixed grill specials for all three with a local beer. The food came quickly and was cooked well. The beer was nice and almost generic. We paid up and left. Only issue was it was 2€ for a very small... More

The food here is great. While not a large menu what they do have is great and really enjoyable. The service is friendly and will help you Pick something you will enjoy if undecided.

Staying in Red Light District (De Wallen)

Neighbourhood Profile
Red Light District (De Wallen)
To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to view some of the city’s most picturesque canals, historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples of traditional local architecture – not to mention Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some less salubrious activities drawing the curious to this age-old part of time. Nevertheless, the Red Light District is still a very safe and incredibly fascinating area where at the turn of a corner you can be transported from the dingy glow of modern day neon red to a glorious 16th century Delft blue dreamscape.
