High quality Indian food and friendly service! This small tucked away Indian restaurant is worth a visit! I had the Chicken Vindaloo which was very tastefully! Great cheese Nan and amazing Raita!

We, three friends, ate dinner twice at Purna and liked it very much. Food was delicious with great hospitality. Highly recommended for non vegetarian food options.

It's the heart warning service and authentic food that makes you feel like home. We are just strolling around, saw this place and decided to give it a try. We ended up going there three nights straight. Highly recommend their chicken tandoori, and the house dish that made by the owners' mother! If you are into very very spicy food,... More

Myself and my 3 friends visited this restaurant after finding it close by on Google maps. It was empty when we got there which we were surprised about as the food and the staff were lovely ! We ordered 2 chicken kormas and 1 chicken tikka masala with popadoms and nan bread. The food was very nice and came within... More

Like it very much. A small family restaurant with a very nice menu. The service was very nice and willing to help. Crowded all the time with a very nice atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Totally recommend.

As we had left the "oh no, not spicy food"-kids at home we decided to go for Indian during otur Amsterdam weekend. The restaurant is tiny (It can only serve about 14 people at a time) and at least on weekends very busy so a table reservation is recommended. The food is very good (and spicy!) and I also loved... This tiny restaurant is clearly a family affair. That brings idiosyncrasies of service (who's in charge of what?) but also a genuinely caring attitude. In a tandoori restaurant I figured that the tandoori platter would cover the major attractions and it was tantalizing; even the shrimp were juicy despite the high heat of the oven. 28 euros bought two courses... Good and authentic indian food, reasonably priced :) It's a family run restaurant with great atmosphere. I found it by accident while strolling around Amsterdam.
