We ordered paratha and he brings with out plate how stupid he is. Not worth. They are going to charge for everything and service is very poor.

Had a diner with Groupon voucher. Choise between vegitarian and regular rice table. Took the regular, great food and great service.

We decided to try out a Indian whilst In Amsterdam and came across this small restaurant. They had a good menu with some really good combination meals. We ordered starters to share and two main dishes. The starters were excellent while the mains was quite basic. The naan was nice and fresh too.

We found the garlic naan and chicken tikka masala to be exceptional. Dal was good too! Friendly staff.

We were looking for an authentic Indian restaurant and found this place online. The food was really great with really fair prices. Can definitely recommend this place. I gave 4 stars because I think they can still improve the atmosphere of the place a bit(in the upstairs area). But this should not stop you from going there ;)

Went here with my girlfriend and another couple of friends and had a decent meal , albeit pricier than Indian food in England . All was well until finishing my meal, something crunched in my mouth and and chipped my tooth and on discovery of the item it was a piece of glass about 5mm by 3mm . I asked... More

Just had a good time @ fair prices. Located in the RL district. Gives you the opportunity to visit the RL district wit a full belly as portion are well sized. Only (-) if you neighbors are eating grilled meals you can end up with smelly clothes.

After doing two walking tours on a long, rainy day, we were quite desperate for hot Indian food. Chanced upon this place inside one of the narrow lanes in the city center. Food was quite greasy, but satisfied our need for comfort food at that point

Staying in Red Light District (De Wallen)

Neighbourhood Profile
Red Light District (De Wallen)
To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to view some of the city’s most picturesque canals, historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples of traditional local architecture – not to mention Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some less salubrious activities drawing the curious to this age-old part of time. Nevertheless, the Red Light District is still a very safe and incredibly fascinating area where at the turn of a corner you can be transported from the dingy glow of modern day neon red to a glorious 16th century Delft blue dreamscape.
