The service the first night was terrible. The waitress was put off because it was late and she clearly didn't want to wait on anymore tables. The food was ok but the cafe had better selection and food.

Staying at the renaissance hotel, do didn't want to go out, and ate at this restaraunt which is on their main floor. Grilled veggie plate, risotto and tortellini all were prepared well and served by friendly staff. This was a great first day of our holiday experience.

Really good food served by extremely friendly and professional staff in a lovely setting - I would highly recommend this restaurant and would certainly return if back in Amsterdam.

We were staying at the Renaissance Amsterdam and had breakfast at the Scossa several times. It was excellent, with many different choices and everything tasty and perfect. They serve many different fruits, different types of breads and pastries, such as croissant and pain au chocolat, yogurts, cereals, eggs, sausages, bacon, potatoes, everything delicious. You can also order omelettes with several... More

This restaurant charges way above the average good restaurant in Amsterdam and the accompanying wine selection is ludicrously priced

We ate here for free as a Plat member. The breakfast was great. Even though it was very packed the staff was able to keep up with the food. All of the food was quite good. Recommended.

Taste of food is definitely a winner. Not an extensive selection of menu but it is selection is good. Nice ambience and fantastic service and attitude of restaurant staff is a big plus. Will definitely dine here again

I sat near the open kitchen and the chef talked to me since I was dining alone. The lamb chops were delicious and I also had the mushroom risotto another night and really good! Super staff!

We had breakfast in the Scossa Restaurant two days in a row. The food options were varied and plentiful and except for the steam-table eggs, everything was very, very tasty. They do make omelets on request, so I'd advise going that route if you can.

Thank KR K
