This place is ideal for picking up a tasty soup on a cold day. There are a couple of seats outside for watching the world go by. Some of the soups are African inspired (when we visited at least), but they're also very affordable.

We were not very hungry, so we got 2 small soup: zucchine and an other one because there wasn't enough of the first one for 2. Zucchine was really reallu good :)

We came across En Zo on our walk back to the centre from the Rijks museum. It had gorgeous soup, salads and breads to choose from. It was all good quality and tasty. We sat outside on a narrow bench which I think was the only seating there was. Highly recommend.

I absolutely loved the soup here. Had it for lunch 2 days in a row and would have eaten it everyday if I had found it sooner. They changed the soup up each day I went in, they had the best flavours which made it extremely hard to pick but each one I got was delicious! The bread is amazing... More

Soups are so nice for afternoon lunch. They have a small selection of soups, also vegetarian which I like. Always delicious and home made.

Soup en Zo has a few branches around Amsterdam including the small shop we tried on corner of Nieuwe Spiegelstraat and Kerkstraat. In short, great soups to be found here if you are looking for lighter and healthier food options. Opening Hours are 11am to 8pm (weekdays) and 12pm to 7pm (weekends). Note that there is limited space at this... More

If you're looking for something healthy on your way to / from Museumplein, have a stop at Soup en Zo. The green gaspacho was great, you can even try it before buying it, just to be sure that you like it!! An excellent alternative to junk food you'll find in any capital.
