I loved this old-fashioned wine bar with good wine, great tapas, and many interesting characters sitting around the bar. It was like going back in time. Unfortunately its time is up. It closed permanently on 31 July. May its memory live on!

This restaurant is not closed: it is now called Mulliner's Wijncafe and is still wonderful. The fondue is great, and the wine selection is excellent. And not overly priced. Add to this, the service is fantastic. A MUST WHEN IN AMSTERDAM

Perfect boutique spot on the canal! The charcuterie board was impressive. Staff was friendly. Quiet little place on the canal

Biers are too small: only 25cl but for the 33cl-bier price... But nice place and food is OK ! People are super cool.

This is a wonderful little pub tucked away in Amsterdam. Unfortunately, it will close in September. The food and drink are great. This little spot has been the headquarters of the Dutch Wodehouse Society for over 30 years. They are looking for a new spot.

Whatever the waiter has should be bottled & sprayed on any non-engaging, unempathetic, uninformed & disinterested in their products waiting staff. Great choice of wines, delicious food at reasonable prices, warm & intimate space

Good choice of wines at a lovely, non-fashionable (in the very good sence of the word) wine bar. Although situated very near The Leidseplein (and thus very near the most busy part of touristy Amsterdam), the owner of this wine bar has succeeded in maintaining...More

We found this place by accident and walked in for dinner not seeking a full meal but wanting to be cozy on a chilly night. We had great wine and food as well as a sense of camaraderie with others most of whom were local...More

I have rated this place before and because of the nice fondues and due to the fact that there aren't too many winebars in Amsterdam, I used to be possitive about this bar... I've been coming here for many, many years, always brought friends with...More

I loved this place from the minute we walked in. It had beautiful music playing in the background and was illuminated with soft lights and candles. We ordered the four cheese fondue and some tapas. The food was delicious and the staff were full of...More

Het is een restaurant met als belangrijkste kenmerk de grote wijnkaart. Ook serveren ze heerlijke tapas/kaasfondue. zeer authentieke plek, zeer centraal. Een oase tussen alle dure/ongezellige toeristische restaurantjes
