Dapper bartenders mix their magic behind the bar with an extensive cocktail menu. Well groomed and charming, the keep the ladies entertained while working their craft. A step back in time with some Art Deco inspiration and smaller rooms inspiring good conversation.

The bar looks pretty nice but we were disappointed with the atmosphere. On our first visit we had great service and the bar was pretty busy but just enough to make it lively. We returned on the following night, and despite having the exact same staff we received horrible service. The barman had to tell our waiter that we had... More

Great bar in the Pulitzer Hotel. There's a good selection of food and non alcoholic cocktails. It wasn't too crowded when I went and I found a table in a small room next door. Service was fairly fast. A little pricy

We had a pre-dinner drink here during our recent trip to Amsterdam. It was a busy Saturday evening but we were able to find a table with a nice view off the canal. We particularly liked the ambience. We had wine but they had a good really cocktail list. The snacks they serve with the drinks are a nice touch.... More

Yesterday I visited the bar with our youngest daughter. She was treated like a queen. Two perfectly made non-alcohol cocktails for her and for me a Negroni style but softer, more tender. We enjoyed our little visit very much. The bar is dark, with secret corners, couches and books. Nice.

This time in the evening for drinks. The waiters and cocktailshakers are good. They even make cocktails which are not on the menu. I like that service!

The glamour of long lost times enters the modern day at the Pulitzer's Bar. This timeless hotel bar tells a contemporary tale of cocktail history through a classic menu and an effortlessly elegant atmosphere. Thanks to its makeover in 2016, the interior captures the accessible elegance of old school hotel bars in a monumental Amsterdam building with its own entrance at the Keizersgracht. One could easily flee the bustle of the city, yet overlook its signature canals, in one of the comfortable armchairs around the fireplace or talk the night away at the impressive Art Deco style bar.
