This was a complete chance encounter... The combination of hunger and availability and the discovery of a gem of delicious food. The Nasi Goreng and Bami Goreng are truly exceptional. The service was excellent and the price quite moderate given the quality of the food. We had to go back a second and third time on this visit to sample... More

A reasonable walk from the central train station, this Indian restaurant also served indonesian food. we really enjoyed the rice table and pistahio ice cream. The satff were very accomodating. They appear to do a brisk business in take out as well. We also had the garlic naan and if that is an indication, there indian food is probably very... More

Tried them out on the first day of my five day visit. Ended up eating here everyday. Excellent, fresh food. Brilliant hospitality.

Loved this place located two blocks from the train station, this is a family run place, and always wonderful food.

We arrived very early for dinner and were so disappointed with the service. It took forever to get a menu, then forever again for the waitress to take our order. At this point we were very concerned about how long it would take to get our food. Our concern was well founded. We couldn't believe that it took so long... More

The food was pretty ordinary and overpriced. The curries were diluted and the chicken pieces were uncooked. Would not recommend.

Made reservation for 6 and when we got there they cancelled us. So we were stranded with six people on Saturday night. Very shady service.

OK, let's start with the food. We tried both Indian and Indonesian dishes an they were allright. Could be better could be worse. But the service definitely needs some attention. Getting the orders should not be that difficult when things are written down correctly in the ffirst place. Apart from that a restaurant is hospitality business and this element was... More

Came here with two friends. We were the only customers in the restaurant so we had the window seat all to ourselves. In some ways this can feel a bit daunting or create an awkward atmosphere because you hope that it will be good when a restaurant is empty! Perhaps it was the rainy quiet Monday night. The curries were... More

Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
