I found it thanks to ViaMichelin and I have to say I was extremely surprised by the quality of the food and the way they presented it. Especially the catch fish (tuna) was fabulous and the price very convenient. €27 for 2 dishes or €37...More

We selected this very nice restaurant from the Michelin guide for its BIB rating. It looks like a one star with an elegant dining room but is priced like the true BIB it is. We chose their BIB Gourmand menu with the wine supplement and...More

the Van Baerle is one of our old favorites in Amsterdam. A nice , slightly old fashionb bourgeois atmosphere, a typical Amsterdam style restaurant in Oud Zuid. Nice salads, excellent entrecôte withi homemade chichuri-style auce, reasonably priced wine list.

Inviting and attractive interior I was lucky to get a table without a reservation and am glad I did. Time restraints meant I went for main course only of Veal rib eye with squid and paella which was simply wonderful. The waitress was very knowledgable...More

As far as I know, they do all kinds of diets, including gluten free. You probably have to tell them in advance, so they can taylor the menu.
