Nice little Turkish restaurant off the Keizergracht. We had the mixed mezes and every dish was lovely (although I could have lived without the beans). Wine was nice too. They don't take visa debit cards but thankfully we had enough cash. If we were staying another few days, we'd go back.

We enjoyed the vegetarian mezze and it was completely delicious. Very gentle, efficient service with a nice mix of music to chill you out. All in all, excellent.

After many years I feel I have to write a review. Comming back again and again and again... Usually for the best messes, but also for bigger plates. ALWAYS extremely good. Come here , with friends, famely and work. Great personal service, viditing amsterdam; a MUST ! Just try it.

Best lamb in Amsterdam! We were 6 persons and our last meal in Amsterdam was our best!! We ate a bit early, because of our flight home, so we were the only guests and the service was great. However when we left, people were comming to eat.

My fiancé and I stayed nearby in October and were thrilled to find this family owned treasure. The food was heerlijk lekker (delicious) and the staff extremely friendly. We enjoyed going there several times during our stay and heartily recommend. Order several of the appetizers as they make a great way to sample many of the dishes. The smoky eggplant... More

Thd place looks very nice and the staff was very friendly, BUT from one main dish you walk away hungry and the meat was really tough. For two 'appetizer' and a bottle of water we paid more 55 bugs. Never again.

We dined there on our first day in Amsterdam. We were staying at a hotel nearby and were too tired to venture too far so I checked tripadvisor within the radius around me. It was the PERFECT everything. I made reservation by phone and just walked there to be received by the warmest friendliest waitress (maybe a co-owner or something)!... More

39,95 for 10 mezes for Two. After you are still hungry. I think normal price is 20 euro. Very small portions, disappointing!

We had dinner in this nice turkish restaurant. We tried the combi apitezer and the typical lamb with cheese. Great !! The lady and the waiters are very kind. To try.

First of all, service is very friendly and helpful : we wanted to eat outside but there was no room left, so they took a little table out especially for us. Then we chose the mezze assortment and this was the best idea ever.... 10 different mezze in small portions, but totally enough for 2 people - less than 40€... More

Staying in Jordaan

Neighbourhood Profile
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers. As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.
