After a good dinner we wanted to do desserts somewhere else and we chose Dulac. A nice interior with lots of wood and candles, romantic atmosphere. The dessert was really nice with coffee, good service and great music choice. For tourists, they also have a hotel next door.

We were here for dinner and had some appetizing starters, carpaccio and grilled cheese and vegetables, plus some delicious bread with sauce. The guy suggested also a very good beer we had never tested so far.

This place definitely need some staff changes!:( I should tell we have been really happy to find a cosy and almost empty restaurant on the busiest evening of the year in Amsterdam (May 2nd). First the waitress seemed to be a bit lost and was very slow with collecting order. We ordered to salads, two black teas and beer. After waiting... More

Good location, great atmosphere and great service. Do ask the employees for recommended dishes and drinks. Good brunch choices as well.

Our first evening meal in Amsterdam and menu and atmosphere intrigued us. Hostess/waitress was great and made the evening for us. The decor was rustic. The food good, but it wasn't busy, service was slow, some may say relaxed. They only had limited number of menus, had to clear glasses away quickly...also limited number and no hand towels in the... We went to this place for lunch. Nice atmosphere, very arty and laidback. So was the waiter it didn't bother me. I had the chavre sandwich, not the best looking but very tasty!

We came across this fab restaurant when walking through the street in the pouring rain. After a preliminaryscan of the menu outside we jumped through the door. Fell in love with the decor and the candles lighting the room. The staff were so attentive and caring and gave us a great experoemce. I was so impressed with the food, the... More

I'm so glad we found this place, they have a very pleasant waiting staff and the food was really good. Their tomato soup is by far amazing (as in general I only like my Gran's tomato soup). Really worth visiting!
