Ate here 2 1/2 years ago, shortly (if I recall) after they opened their doors... our second experience was as enjoyable as our first. Decided to choose the 6-course chef’s tasting menu. A parade of inventive, beautiful, and delicious dishes followed. We’ll be sure to...More

Went for the All out, 8 dishes tasting menu. Absolutely delicious, each getting better than the last. Great steak tartare, Corvina delicate and delicious, beef very tasty. Wine very good and reasonably priced. Service was slow as it was busy.

Terrible service, terrible vegetarian options and they don't even bother to change your cutlery between dishes . And for the price of a top meal anywhere else in the world. Do not touch with a Dutch barge pole

Service could definitely be improved, no doubt! We ordered the 6 course tasting menu as vegetarians, now usually in places they would offer completely different dishes for each course, we received 2 dishes with the main ingredient was tomatoes and the second one was mainly...More

I ate here quite a few times, and it's always a good experience. The portions are small indeed, but overall balanced. You will be happy here if you want to have a nice meal, not if you need to stock up with food! The price...More

We happened upon this restaurant on the way to the Anne Frank House and were attracted by the frontage including the Michelin recommendation signs. It was early evening and midweek so found the restaurant to be quiet. We were seated promptly by our surly waitress...More

Fifteen restaurant in Amsterdam is an exciting offshoot of Jamie Oliver’s famous Fifteen London, a great example of one set of dynamic, generous people inspiring others to act. In this case, the ‘others’ are Sarriel Taus and Coen Alewijnse who have created this combination restaurant and chef’s school in partnership with Fifteen London to benefit the struggling young people of Amsterdam. So what’s it like at the dining end of the equation? Very cool. The arty cosmopolitan style includes vibrant graffiti-scrawled sheet metal walls contrasting nice with the smart, sleek modern lines, designer seating and white table cloths. The restaurant seats up to 200, yet can still feel right for an dinner a deux. Each night a tasting menu is on offer, inspired by Jamie Oliver incorporating only the freshest regional produce. The modern Italian menu changes weekly and includes one of Jamie’s favourite antipasti to start, a first dish of fresh pasta, gnocchi or risotto, second course of meat, fish, poultry or game, and, we’re quoting here, ‘a wicked dessert’. A wine tasting menu is available to match the food tasting menu, or choose your own from the excellent list.
