Returning several times to this restaurant it always kept its reputation. They serve great quality food. Small portions which allows you to try diffferent things. Very recommendable is the tasting menu where you can pick a 4, 6 or 8 course surprise menu.

It's beautiful, trendy, original and everything tastes very good. Great wine selection. However I don't think I have ever had such small portions in my life. I am small and petite and I do not need to eat big portions but I believe a 2 years old would leave the place hungry(and crying). Envy is a great name, you leave... More

My husband and I came here on one of our last nights in Amsterdam to celebrate his birthday and our recent marriage and were very disappointed. Let me start by saying the food was delicious. The portions were small but we did the 8 course tasting menu so it was about what we expected. However, for what the meal cost... More

My girlfriend and I experienced the chefs table in May of 2017. The meal consisted of a tasting menu with about 10 courses from small bites, appetizers, salad courses, main dishes (including fish and beef) followed with dessert. We opted to do a wine pairing with the meal. Generally the food was excellent, with subtle flavors and lots of fun... More

We couldn't wait to get back to envy after nearly 2 years .... What a deception. Everything that used to make that place so unique has gone. The lighting was so finely tuned, that intimate darkness was the restaurant's identity.. Gone. Now the place is lit like a random pizzeria. And the service. The restaurant was not even half full,... This was a return visit. First came across Envy 4 years ago and it was the find of our trip. Sad to say, not this time! Started from the minute we went in - given an amuse bouche with an explanation of it so quick, couldn't take it in (had just handed over our coats and were on our way... More

Our dinner at Envy was quite disappointing. They start by telling you that they are a fine dining restaurant. That should be a tip off because fine dining restaurants don't need to tell you what they are. The service was definitely not fine dining. The server spilled my wine on the table and in my water and didn't clean it... More

Terrible service. They stated in their website (before they changed it) that they had a BiB Gourmand menu but in the end it turned out they only serve it on Mondays. It was way to expensive for the food you got. Afterwards they offer me a dining coupon which they never send to me. After inquiring Jade the sales clerk... More

Ok Amsterdam is not famous for its service but this place reached new lows. Waitress was angered when asked about ingredients of soup had to ask her to question the chefs. She served our 8.50 euro soup without bread which we paid 5.50 for two small pieces and without plates! Please do not waste your time and money here. Michelin... More

Innovative restaurant- we had the degustation menu of 4 courses - interestingly the chef determines what they serve. However it worked well and we were asked for allergies. So worth a try. Only a 4 - the service was somewhere between relaxed and slow - almost casual. Nevertheless, once you get with their program , it works!

Description
Fifteen restaurant in Amsterdam is an exciting offshoot of Jamie Oliver’s famous Fifteen London, a great example of one set of dynamic, generous people inspiring others to act. In this case, the ‘others’ are Sarriel Taus and Coen Alewijnse who have created this combination restaurant and chef’s school in partnership with Fifteen London to benefit the struggling young people of Amsterdam. So what’s it like at the dining end of the equation? Very cool. The arty cosmopolitan style includes vibrant graffiti-scrawled sheet metal walls contrasting nice with the smart, sleek modern lines, designer seating and white table cloths. The restaurant seats up to 200, yet can still feel right for an dinner a deux. Each night a tasting menu is on offer, inspired by Jamie Oliver incorporating only the freshest regional produce. The modern Italian menu changes weekly and includes one of Jamie’s favourite antipasti to start, a first dish of fresh pasta, gnocchi or risotto, second course of meat, fish, poultry or game, and, we’re quoting here, ‘a wicked dessert’. A wine tasting menu is available to match the food tasting menu, or choose your own from the excellent list.
