Traditional Dutch snacks, a must try in AMS. They have a few shops across the town and it's hard to miss.

Was too scared to try Febo on my first few times in town. But we eventually plucked up the courage and really glad we did! Don't think the burgers are very good, but been quite impressed with the fried stuff. The frikadel sausage and the satekroket are my two favourite items on the menu. The caramel milkshake I had last... More

Let's be real. At some point you will more than likely partake of the Coffeeshops. And afterward this will save your life. It's basically McDonald's behind glass. Bring coins as it does not accept bills but you can pay for what you would like at the counter. Seriously great fun late at night and you want a Kroket which is... More

I ate at Febo just a couple of times. The place is comfortable, very cheap, but the quality follows the price, nothing really special.

Once I found out about FEBO I had to check it out when I visited Amsterdam. I am no kroket connoisseur but I had quite a few when visiting the Netherlands and Belgium. I liked the ones at FEBO the best ! I wish we had FEBO here in Canada. There should be one across the street from a bar... More

A throwback to the golden days of Amsterdam's pommel frites and frikadells for a a guilder.Good food for hungry pavement pampers in the city that never sleeps at least until it gets too wasted.Febo dates back decades to the hippie days of Amsterdam and has miraculously low prices as if the hippy crowd were still their best patrons.Their pommel with... You can find lots of "Febo" in Amsterdam. The point of this "restaurant" is to get there, choose, pay, and leave with your meal, altought you can eat there. Very simple and straight forward. Good for meals on the go, it offers plenty of possibilites in a cheap price range. Good option if you're in a hurry!

If you visit the Netherlands than you can absolutely not miss this febo. Febo the best place to be to get your chips (patat). One of the best chips available in the Netherlands. The chicken is also very tasty.

I've heard about Febo and I wanted to try it. I went with my parents and we ordered all sort of krokets, frikadel, kaassoufle, chicken skiwers, french fries... all very fresh, crunchy, tasty and.. fat! Anyway, everything that is fried is delicious! I loved and went back more times just to grab a kroket!

Everytime we saw a Febo during our stay in Amsterdam, we had to go in and try something we didn't try the last time we went. it would have to be a must do at least once.

Neighbourhood Profile
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
