Not a very polite waiter. But the food was very nice and the place is so nice with tiles and beautyful lamps and colours all over. So I think you should go there.

Went in the early afternoon and had some very tasty, unusual food. Unfortunately had to wait almost 40 minutes for food. This gave time to soak up the surroundings, which are very impressive. Really enjoyed the food but would advise to leave a little extra...More

This restaurant is located in the Albert Cuypmarkt and serves primarily Middle Eastern cuisine. Value is good (by Amsterdam standards anyway) and portions are large, Had Tunisian fish soup, lamb kafta and mixed grill shish kebab

Out of the central area of Amsterdam, it's a walk that's worth it. From the outside the neighbourhood looks a bit worn but again, don't be fooled. In an old church the space is massive and has two levels. It was jumping when we went....More

The location is definitely hip, its an interesting place in an old church. Service is a bit poor, no real smile, no consulting, rather taking fast an order. The food was surprisingly good and big portions and cheap, so in the end a great place...More

The bazar restaurant is a really cool place because it's a mosque that's re maid to a restaurant. The food is North African, middle eastern. The food is not fantastic, but the atmosphere and the vibe makes the whole experience nice. Good prices as well!

The place itself is wonderful, and it's nice to just be there. The food is just ok. It's good, but far from great. Worth a trip, but not so much for the food as for the ambience, and the whole concept.

This place is one of my favourites in Amsterdam. The place and atmosphere is amazing (open minded, multi cultural, very good and positive vibes), the food simple but very good and the staff friendly and always smiling. A nice experience to share with friends or...More
