Dined here midweek with a work colleague. We both took a set menu and were not disappointed. Very good fish, chicken and lamb dishes. Good sized portions and very flavoursome, spicy dishes (perhaps unusually so for the Netherlands). Fast efficient service also. An interesting wine list too - the 2009 Medoc Cru Bourgeois was very nice and reasonable value. We... More

Delicious authentic Indonesian food and gracious accommodating staff and owner. Perhaps the best Indonesian restaurant in the Netherlands, certainly one of the top.

Food and wine were brilliant. Atmosphere inside welcoming and pleasant. Service fantastic and the owner is a gentle, friendly and humble guy, but an extremely talented sommelier. Favourite dish -- the venison (so tender it melted like butter in your mouth) with red ginger, paired with a Spanish mencia. 5/5 overall because it was such a delightful experience.

Yesterday i visited this lovely authentic Indonesian restaurant. A warm welcome from Frank, the owner, in an oriëntal atmosphere. Nice table-linnen for that extra restaurant-feeling. The food is a joy for the taste buds, Satay tasted very authentic and not burried under a bowl of Satay sauce. Very refined food, served by nice waiters. A good choice in wine. I'll... More

This small, family run restaurant service traditional Indonesian cuisine in a simple but friendly and cosy atmosphere. We chose the "rijsttafel", a mix of various dishes - all very tasty but none very hot. They have a good selection of wines too.

Loved the calm "livingroom" atmosphere, personal and friendly staff and the taste of the food was great! Only minus point was that the portions were fairly small, after a 5 course dinner I still wasn't really full. And I'm not a very big eater.

We had booked the special menu. 5 dishes for 32 euros. It was a very good deal with fish and meat, all differently spiced. The crab in banana leaf was maybe not very exiting but a lot of crab. Desert with ice cream and a coco "panna cotta" delicious. Wine reasonably priced and very nice. But almost 3 hours for... More

After writing around 250 reviews, this is the first time I need to warn you about the restaurant's staff. Let me write a short recap: We went in, sat down and got the menu (which by the way has some ridiculous prices, including 25Euro for a bowl of curry!). We were approached by a waiter to take orders. After two... More

I have been coming here for over twenty years now and for a reason. The food has bold flavors but is elegant at the same time. The wine pairings are very good and surprising. The ambiance is nice, also because of the very personable service. This restaurant offer never became boring – on the contrary. My wife and I will... More
