Happened to find this place on the last day of our stay in Brussels and loved it! The fried calamari was perfect! The fish soup I was hesitant to try but loved it also and the shrimp scampi was delicious. The one thing I would change if I could, is the standing in the cold to eat, but the price... More

Twice visited them, at noon excellent fish soup but a little bit disappointed by North sea oysters comparing with Normandy. New filial under the lift in Marolles looking and smelling pretty

Placed in a corner where your eye catches it as sea food market, it is actually a sea food street bar! Everything is fresh , made most of the times right in front of u! U can enjoy your drink with a big collection of tastes or take it away. If u r in town don't miss it!

Sunday morning in the city centre, spotted in Place St.Kathrine at the fresh market? This is the place to be. Fast service, great fish soupe and st. Jacques for a quick lunch with good fish and sparkling wine.

It is a sea food restaurant where you can eat a snack or light lunch in its counter on the streets or in its tables on the other side of the street. My favorites are the shrimp croquettes and the scamps grilled in a nice garlic oil served with an small salad and tartare mayonnaise and excellent Belgium bread. The... More

Very nice place to eat a delicious quick meal, really really tasty. Only fish and sea food, made either on hot grill or deep fried although I recommend the hot grill ones ("a la plancha"). Best Tuna a la planch i've ever had, and realy tasty scampi! Would love to have some places indoor next time i will visit :D

An institution in Brussels! The Noordzee (Mer du Nord) serves up seafood to eat on the street, or take away. if you are in town, you cannot miss at least one meal here, even in the coldest and windy days, you gotta try their fish soup, or oysters, prawns and other seafood goodness, and eat standing "in the shade" of... We stopped in Brussels for the day while traveling from Bruges to Paris and went here based on recommendation in Rick Steves' book. It was raining when we went so we grabbed a spot in the the small (probably 10 seats max) oyster area. The man behind the counter was super nice and helpful. Based on his recommendation we got... The shrimp kroketten, the fish soup, the haring, the oysters, the mussels, everything that they have is AMAZING. If you're in the center of Brussels you HAVE to go there.

This is a stand up eatery which has grown and grown over the years - - oysters and champagne are its signature dishes and drink but soap and salad and white wine are on had as well - they now have more tables over the road with heaters which helps at the rally busy times - this is a classic...
