Went here to have a dinner. The first impression was, the staffs were absolutely friendly. The food were awesome, with big portion, couldnt even finish the fries by myself. Pair your food with the beer, voila an awesome dinner/lunch in Brussel ✨

This used to be a meeting point for Belgian surrealist artist and you might find some of his history hanging on the walls. They serve typical Belgian food and special beers and the ambiance can be quite nice in the different rooms specially if they organice any artistic of literature venue. The service was fast and very friendly but I... More

This is a really cosy and cool place to go for a beer and some local Belgian food. It's neither light nor beautiful, rather wholesome and well-prepared. Loved the Belgian atmosphere and surprisingly perky staff!

This place didn't look like much from outside but luckily we tried it. We had walked the whole day and decided to rest our feet for a while. The place was amazing! Walls covered with old paintings, letters, pictures etc. Very old-fashioned and beautiful with original vibe. The service was fast and polite. There is an interesting historiography about the place... More

Well prepared Belgian food, a fine small selection of Belgian beer and pleasant staff! The Croque Madame was a nice Belgian delicacy, although I regretted not ordering the stoomp dishes - they looked marvellous!

A great llitlle pub, for those who appreciate such places. A classic boozer of the Old School riddled with history, many good beers and a Senior barman who, if he has the time, is happy to chat about the place and a great deal of other history of Brussel.

Well, he might have eaten here too, though last night our group of four just wanted a beer and a snack. La Fleur etc. accommodated us nicely, with a great selection of bottled and tap beers. Great atmosphere, and the only Belgian-born member of our group recalled coming here as a student many years ago. We'll return for the stoemp... More

A local strongly recommended we come here for lunch or dinner, and we were really delighted by our meal here. They had an array of choices, all of which seemed to be delicious - especially the beef stew! The service was friendly and the atmosphere felt very local too. Great place to get local food!

This pub is outside the busy centre of Brussels, it's a gem we found by accident while looking for a place to eat. Although the area is not very busy, it's within 10 minutes walking distance of the Manneken Pis.

Delightful atmospheric pub unexpectedly on a bland, unlovely street in central Brussels. Said to have been established in World War 2 and to have been a haunt of surrealist painters including Magritte. But it feels much older than 20th century, and the building is certainly many centuries old. The two front rooms are small and cosy with the walls crammed... More
