It is 50 meters away from the Grand Place but somehow it feels underground and even unknown. After a narrow corridor you end up in this very dark bar with skulls, bones, and metal music. The staff is really nice, an interesting contrast to the place! I've visited a couple times and I remember once seeing an extra room open,... More

I loved it. :) Nice ambiance, if you like these kinds of things. Good selection of beer (of course, it is Belgium), but also coctails and shots etc. Full of skeletons, skulls, neon lights, coffins (hence the name), just halloween everyday. Also, very good music (rock and metal). What I liked were different plastic bottles with some sort of liquer... More

Entry was up a narrow dark corridor with an assortment of graffiti and aroma's. Very small bar with extra seating areas. Murals and art work on the walls to give it "the feel". Glass topped coffin tables set it off. Bar staff very welcoming. Prices NOT...........6 euro for a pint of Maes is beyond the scale even if it is... More

Very quirky bar. Well worth a visit. Great range of beers as you would expect in Belgium served in unusual surroundings.

an amazing place to be, the tables are Coffin with skeleton inside and you kind drink a beer in a mug of a form of a skull-head

What an amazing place! You can drink beer out of a skull, look at the skeleton hanging from the ceiling and sit by a coffin table. I guess the décor isn't to everyone's taste but I thought it was great. Brilliant music too.

A spooky bar which I didn't expected like that in the center. The big beer you can drink out of a skull which fits well to the atmosphare of the bar.

The title of this bar means The Coffin and that's pretty much what you walk into! It's like a spooky graveyard and to enter it you have to go up a dark passage and then you're transported into an equally dark environment where you have to adjust your eyes! It's pretty small inside but small can mean perfect and it... More
