A stop for an early lunch on Easter Sunday originally I was going to have just a coffee but I noticed that they had their Pork chop with roast potatoes which is a favourite of mine and it did not disappoint

Best sunny place to have a drink or more during the summer. The terrace is mostly occupied by locals and is the meeting place for the LGBT community in the afternoons while everybody is always wellcome

My twin brother Stephen and I had just been to Café Lombard were we enjoyed some delicious beer's and as Le Plattesteen is directly across the road we thought we would drop into here for a quick drink as it's such a wonderful bar that we have visited on many occasions. The bar itself is superb,a large open restaurant and... More

After visiting Brasserie Le Lombard on this excellent street in Brussels we crossed the street and visited Taverne Le Plattesteen a superb Taverne that offers a decent drinks range and a great food menu. This is a fine Taverne which hasn't really changed since we first visited here fifteen years ago. This Taverne is housed in a nice building and it has... Had a really nice meal with an excellent waiter. No pressure to finish or leave table. Steaks were cooked to our orders and was a great place to eat in Brussels. Would highly recommend it

If you was to know what it is to meet real Bruxelles atmosphere ... you have to come here for lunch... I go there so often... the waiter can say what I like to drink or eat ... I do not have to tell ...

This place hasnt changed much since it opened in the 60's. Authentically Brusselois! A nice place to spend an hour or so. We were happy with our mint teas (reviewing only as a bar, we didn't eat there). Close to gay district so a mixed laid back atmosphere.

At a superb location, it could be the best spot to enjoy a drink while sitting on its terrace and see the world go by. Unfortunately, service is slow and inefficient, the place is often a bit overcrowded, and the offer is average. House wine is well... let's not mention it. Hot chocolate is rubbish. Coffee is average. I guess... More

Came across this restaurant by chance, friendly staff, good choice of menu and tasty food. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. We went back a few times for both lunch and dinner and never disappointed, would certainly recommend this restaurant.
