Excellent by all means. Visited with my wife, she had sausages with mashed potato and carrot, i had rabbit stew, very fast service, excellent taste. One of the boys recommended a kind of desert with with chocolate and whipped cream and it was LOVELY! Staff...is very very helpful, speaks fluent english, moves in an instance. We arrived at 17:30 and half of the tables were empty. By 19 o’clock there were 15 people outside in line waiting and restaurant was full. I’m going back this evening!More

Yes, we had to queue outside for around 20 minutes - luckily not raining - but it was worth the wait. The food was really good. You were not rushed to leave either as you could have a second drink had you wanted.

WOW!!!! What an amazing dining experience. After reading glowing reviews about its local cuisine we decided to go for dinner. We had to wait about 15v minutes outside for a table but for me this was part of the experience. It created a sort of...anticipation and the manager/owner was continously popping us out to keep us informed etc. Once inside the food was just amazing. A small authentic menu with classic dishes, great service and refreshing drinks. The waiters were just fantastic. Prices were reasonable for the high quality of food. Definitiely recommend and will return in the future hopefully:) Thanks......More

Very lovely place with really friendly staffs. Since it was our first time in Brussels, we were not familiar with food and the staffs helped us a lot. It is really good place to have typical Belgian food. The dishes we order were very tasty...and had a good size. This restaurant was not expensive and their food was really tasty. I recommend if you want to try Belgian food specifically for the first time try “flemish beef” here.More

A very popular restaurant in central Brussels, we had to queue outside for about an hour (the line was indeed very long), but we realised everybody was saying it was worth the waiting - and it was. The staff were super friendly and helpful from...the beginning. The atmosphere was cosy and informal. We had the typical Belgian carbonade (beef stew with mashed potatoes), which came in a very generous dose! Prices were quite reasonable, considering the location of the restaurant. Will definitely come back!More

The food is delicious and for sure I appreciated the very generous portion. The meat in the carbonade dish is absolutely sublime, it melts in your mouth, so pleasant and great flavor. It comes with a tasty mountain of smashed potatoes. Loved it! There was...queue when we arrived there and it took about half an hour to get in, but well worth a visit ! I’d do it again and again, you completely forget the waiting time once you eat! The people of the staff are amazing, so kind and helpful guys. Exceptional prices for the excellent quality of this place!More

A great small restaurant in historic district, but off the tourist track. Excellent Belgian food; very friendly staff. Go early because there is always a line to get in as evening moves on.

Delicious food, good value. Nice selection of Belgian dishes, we had the Flemish stew and the pork, both were lovely! Quite busy so we had to queue for a while to get a table but worth it!

We visited here on a Sunday evening and waited about 15minutes for a table. It was worth the wait! The menu is small and filled with Belgian dishes which were delicious! The food comes out really quick! We ordered the sausage dish and the beef...stew dish which I highly recommend. The staff were lovely but this isn’t the place to spend the evening and have drinks, they were keen to get us out and sit another couple!!More

Excellent local cuisine. As one reviewer says, its like food your grandmother cooked." Belgian comfort food. We had the Flemish stew and the lamb shank. Served with veggies and mashed potatoes. Excellent. Finished it off with the apple tart. They also have a great beer...selection. We were leaving the next day. Otherwise, we would have returned the next night. Go early because they fill up fast and don't take reservation.More

This was my first time in Brussels, and in this restaurant. And this was the best thing I ate in 3 years, this was my first time abroad since the Coronavirus. I loved it, the steak was delicious and pink and it came with as...tasty salad and baked potato with a fresh sauce which made the steak even more tasty. Unfortunately, my stupid friend broke the glass and it fell into my food, so I could not finish the salad and the potato. As for the beer, it was the best beer I’ve tasted in my lifetime. Loved everything about this place and I can’t wait to visit again during my next trip to Brussels, which is in May. The staff was also very friendly, polite and helpful.More

Went with a mate while on a long weekend and after checking the reviews we were looking forward to going and it didn't dissapoint. Friendly staff talked us through the menu and I plumed for the stewed rabbit while my mate went for the sausage....Both were served with mash and, along with the beers, it was so good. Beautiful product cooked very well with an eye on local produce and taste.More

The seating is quite busy in this restaurant, making it quite difficult to have food with small kids (less than 5yrs). If the kids are a bit older, it should work.
