At the top of Grand Place downstairsits a big cellar.Very touristy but good menu and wine list and not too expensive
We ate early because they were booked later on, but we were not rushed. The food was very good with attentive waiters. Whilst not high end, the food is good and plentiful with a reasonable selection.
The restaurant is a small space but the food was amazing. We had the beef stew prepared in the flemish’s way (beer sauce) and chicken vol-au-vent with fries. Both were delicious but the vol-au-vent may be one of the best meals I have ever tasted....More
An historical place, a real institution in Bruxelles. Warm atmosphere, always crowded, usually they don’t accept reservations, so better to go early. Excellent traditional cuisine, fast service and helpful waiters. Reasonable price.
