This place is a nice comfortable spot and the food looks amazing. I spotted someone eating a huge lamb shank style thing which looked extremely inviting. There was also huge bowls of mussels being served with a strong garlic and white wine odour. Visually and aromatically the food was extremely inviting. However, the lady serving us, despite being efficient seemed... More

The restaurant itself is quite delightful with a real welcoming feel about it. The staff were very helpful in recommending dishes and appropriate beers to go with the food. It's really close to the Sablon so perfect for stopping off for something to eat. I would definitely recommend this place.

We booked a table for 12 and were seated upstairs with a nice waiter who served us promptly. The menu is extensive and it offers a wide range of food at decent prices (especially for the Sablon area!). The portion side was very good and the food was tasty - my whole entourage was satisfied! Will go back again no... More

Very good food... Only... The woman who serves is so so rude. She can't laugh, doesn't wanna see it when you're finished your mail,... You have to be very patienced...

We were surprised with the serving. For the price we thought it was worth it. I particularly enjoyed the recommended Belgium food on the menu. Although there was a football match on,the staff were attentive and helpful to us tourists.

I got the recommendation from my hotel receptionist to go here as I was looking for some Belgian dishes. I did think they had a great option on the menu to try the 3 main dishes of belgium on one plate, i cant remember the name but maybe tour of belgium or sampler belgium or something like that and it... Restaurant Skievelat has a convenient location for visitors to Brussels: halfway between two touristic hot spots, the Sablon and the Marolles districts and within walking distance of the Museum of Music Instruments, the Royal Museums for Fine Arts, the Magritte Museum, the Musée Bellevue and the Royal Palace. We stopped here for an early dinner (6 p.m.) on a Sunday... More

Yum food. Big meals that taste great. Lovely waitress who offered beer recommendations for us and was super nice. Would recommend and would go again.

We walked in asking if the kitchen was open for a quick bite before a show. "The kitchen is always open", we were told. At that moment, besides the 2 of us, there was one other customer, 2 waiters and 2 people in the kitchen. We ordered shrimp croquettes and a tartare. It took them 25 minutes to serve us... More
