They reopened a year ago...so what's the verdict...? Chef Kato is dedicated, passionate and super friendly. The ramen is without a doubt the best in BeNeLux. Prices are very democratic, no concession done on quality used, top products and beautiful portions served. The chef Kato assistant "leonor" is very welcoming and big manga fans...(one piece)... Will definitely come back for... More

Excellent noodles and gyoza in a cozy setting. The chef and manager are super friendly, speak English, and are happy to suggest items from the menu for you if you don't know what you want. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.

This is as good as ramen gets outside Japan. Great team, cosy setting. Perfect for lunch break. A bowl of Ramen and a serving of gyoza is all you need.

Yamatos was reopened under a new chef and I guess the question is "is it the same??" It like accepting a new Dr Who.. Almost as good, but not 100 % the same. It is still the best ramen in town, but oh so slightly different from the past

Good food, authentic, friendly people. I loved it. But there was not much choice on the menu though.

This spot is a no-frills in-out ramen joint that serves a limited range of great ramen! It is a noodle bar with all the tables facing the kitchen in the middle. The ramen was very filling and super tasty! Highly recommend this place for a fast but flavoursome lunch!

The only Brussel's Ramen-Bar that makes me feel like when I visited Japan. Simple, fast and delicious. After closing for some months, Yamato's back in the gentrifying district of St. Boniface, ideal for a great lunch just between the eurocrats and bankers from Porte de Namur, and the Africans of Matonge.

Yamato is a small cousy ramen joint in ixelles, brussels. They serve miso based ramen which is absolutely delicious. Price range up to 13 euro. Also worth a try is the Ton Katsu, fried chicken with rice, very authentic. For two people you roughly end up with a bill around 40 bucks.

Things seem more or less the same as in the past. The preparation process for the ramen is very serious, the same goes for gyoza. You can also try the specially brewed beer from Japanese ingredients. Come and try.
