The service was incredible and I got to know a little more about Etiopian food. It was a lot of food just for two. So I can recomend to order only one dish for two. Its was a very nice experience.

Having read a lot of praising reviews, I had been expecting something more spectacular, more appealing, at least more interesting. We had lamb, a "traditional" chicken dish, spinach, eggplants, mushrooms, salad and cow cheese. Everything was of mediocre taste and quality - at least for my personal taste. Even the desserts were nothing special. The restaurant's ambience is pleasant and... More

Ethiopian food was delicious. Very good choice on menu, especially good variety of vegetarian food. Great service, friendly staff. Drinks choices very good too, especially the mocktails

Having never eaten Ethiopian food before, we were unsure what to expect. Their menu caters to most tastes, offering spicy/non spicy options, as well as vegetarian food. Our waitress was lovely and took the time to describe the dishes, and also explained a little bit about the Ethiopian traditions surrounding eating. I won't go into too much detail, but trust... We went to Kokob without reservation and it was packed, but the friendly waitress told us to come back in 20 minutes, so we did and got a table. At first we didn't know what to order, so when I told the waitress she gave us a good overview and a recommendation on what to order. When the food came... More

We often dine out, and we tried something new. the food was great (and a lot) service was on average, on a hygiene base: this waiter walked around with a sigaret in his hand and behind his ear, walked out to the front door to smoke and returned back in without washing his hands straight back to work. smoking where... Food was excellent and service friendly but slow and waiting staff forgot orders couple of times. Overall recommended however!

The waitress was charming, she explained us everything regarding how to enjoy the meal. The food was even better than expected, it is a must-see restaurant.

We had reserved for 16 but 22 showed up. The sat us down and we had the starters which was nice. I enjoyed the food and the sharing was fine for a large group. I'm giving it 4 stars for 2 reasons, firstly because I was recommended the ice tea which I really didn't like and secondly because the cheese... More

Huge group of us were welcomed and accommodated at the back. We got a range of starters which were a lot like samosas and were good. The mains were loads of different gloopy foodstuffs served on top of huge (and really nice) sour pancake things. I wasn't that keen on the combination and didn't eat that much. Great service.
