I joined today my good friend Patrick for lunch. It was a pleasure to discover ( a well known address) in a hidden place in Uccle. La Branche d´Olivier has certainly the charm of an old "estaminet." You will eat in a pleasant, cozy decor. Food is tasty and delicious, "the traditional way"; So certainly an address to recommend and... More

The food is delicious but the service was really bad and non professional. Very nice terrace. Typical Belgium specialities. Good wine card.

I was lucky to be invited to this charming Bistrot situated on the edge of a wood in the chic suburb of Uccle. If I lived in Brussels like many of my tax fleeing French friends, I would make this my HQ! Seriously good inventive but "proper" food, but with 0% stuffiness. The owner/manager is also very knowledgeable about his... More

I like this little bistro tucked away in a suburb of Brussels known as Uccle - and yet you are only a 10 minute drive from downtown or uptown Brussels. The food is of really good quality, Everything is delicious. The service is attentive and the setting is charming and laid-back. Just a treasure of a local place.

This is a nice restaurant that caters all budgets as besides their normal a la carte menu and the day suggestions, they have 3 different 30 € set menus. We went a la carte and, although prices are correct, we ended up paying quite a lot but largely due to our choice of drinks. We found that despite their relative... More

Passing regularly by the restaurant, I was always curious to visit it and we were not disappointed. Although there were very limited vegetarian options, there was a good choice of fish dishes. The whole family enjoyed all the courses, especially I liked the noix St jacques starter, 'figues' desert and a very nice wine. We will definitely go back!

This Uccle restaurant offered us an excellent menu for only €30 per person. With wine it came to about €35 per person. It was a three course menu and I chose grilled egg-plant as the starter. It was a very large and delicious portion. For the main course i chose a meat dish and for the dessert warm cherries and... More

I have been many times or at least once a year to this restaurant located a little outside of brussels in a very nice area. The food is always good. This time it was above expectation. Did they change chef? The presentation is outstanding, the quality of food ( asparagus in may) top. Of course i love the atmosphere and... More

This cosy, rather rustic restaurant serves somewhat old-fashioned but really excellent food: it is sophisticated without being fussy. Be prepared to spend some time as the service, although good, is not quick - that is not the point of this place. You go to have an enjoyable evening and a perfectly delicious meal. It is not particularly cheap but there... More

This is really the type of place that cultivates fellowship with locals. An old-fashioned gastronomic bistro with two small dining rooms and a terrace. A fairly high numbered young staff to make you expect a dynamic, attentive and fast service. A fantastic 3-course set menu, with 3 choices for each, well priced at 30€. A very tempting board of suggestions,... More
