I have worked around place Jourdan and once tried Maison Antoine... I ve never been back! the fries are really oily like a sponge in the oil, the place is just a bungalow without table or chairs and the queue is always long... When I pass by I just wonder why this place is so popular....

Having seen great reviews and not being far away from the Paliamentarium where we had just visited we had a pleasant walk through a park to arrive at the Place du Jourdan. The square seem to be undergoing some reconstruction and building work with a fair ground at one end but we found a humble looking mobile chip van with... More

While walking through Brussels, we stopped and decided to google for the best fries in Brussles. By coincidence, we were standing 100 meters from Maison Antoine, which came up as the best place to eat fries. We were not dissapointent, the fries where firm but soft, and had a good taste. We took fries with mayonaise, but we can't wait... More

Great takeaway fries from a small room in the middle of Place Jourdan. Large serving, enough for 2 people. Other takeaway food also served.. Do not pass by without trying it.

Great flavour and a high variety of sauces. Ask for the big size, you won´t regret. Surprisingly cheap. I would pay more without any doubt.

They are so famous that there is usually a very long queue. To be honest the frites were quite nice but not worth the hour-long queue. If you are in a hurry there are plenty of other places to go to for frites.

Great fries and near the natural sciences museum so a great little stop off. Long lines during meal hours so if you can go a little earlier or later, just great!! I found the portion sizes were good, a small is a small so if you want a meal of fries, get the large!

The frites are alright here. Flagey's frites are much crispier & taste better. I'd go there instead.

Yes you will queue because this place is popular. And that is because the chips are absolutely mind blowingly good. There is a huge choice of sauces and dips as well as hot dogs, coquettes etc. But really it is the chips that everyone comes for. There is a great bar across the road from here which lets you bring... More
