We were recommended this restaurant by the hosts on the barge we were staying on. A short 5 minute walk near the centre of Namur. We enjoyed pasta with gambas, chicken vol-au-vent, cod and veal. Excellent dishes all agreed. Service was very good though there were no menus in English. A quite large high ceiling location with a great buzz... More

Very pleasant evenning at this authentic Brasserie located on a charming square. In spite of late arrival (45' minutes after the time we booked) , the Maitre d' made us immediately feel comfortable, organized a table in 10 minutes (the restaurant was packed on a Sun evenning) ... and even apologized for the wait and treated us with appetizers! Excellent... More

Very fresh salad and meat excellent with typical chips. Quick and kind staff with a terrace. The choice on the menu is various and you can find what you like. Excellent bread.

I always go back to the brasserie as it has a good vibe and a nice feel. Good food and friendly staff. Something different for Namur town

What a great find. We sat in the courtyard and ate what i would describe as the best moules and frites I have ever tasted. An excellent wine list to accompany it and very pleasant service. well wotrh a visit

Lots of locals but all the tourist are put in the back room! The restaurant looks like a brassiere found in Paris. Food was really good but the atmosphere is hectic and cramped. We both had salads cause we were short on time. Not cheap but really good.

Late May is asparagus season and the menu in this high-ceilinged and quite large, restaurant reflected this - and the somewhat high prices appeared to reflect the popularity of this delicacy. Having said that, our dinner was most enjoyable, as were the setting, service and bustling atmosphere.

On a road trip we stopped here for Sunday lunch and were early enough to get a table. Reservations might be a better idea if you are not wanting to chance being seated as the tables filled quickly after we were seated. Brasserie food is normally a good, safe bet offering classic French comfort food. The food here was exceptional... More

We had as a group several activities in Brasserie Francois. All food was excellent. Service was great and also used the first floor Ballroom. All was done to perfection.

Terribly unhelpful staff. They look through you like they don't see you. They have been to not smile or acknowledge your presence. If you are English speaking, then would not recommend it to a soul. The staff behaves like their tongues would evaporate if they so much as uttered a word in English or helped anyone who is English speaking.... More
