The area is great to walk around and take pictures. You can Also See it from a boat ride which is 8 euros and Goes through the main sites along the canals in towntown.

Had an amazing dinner at this cute little restaurant with a perfect view of the Canal and the Belfry. The service was lovely and charming, and the food exceptional! The mussels and sea food selection were suggested and did not disappoint. Would recommend this place to everyone!!

A good, simple restaurant without the tourist frills but with very good food and friendly helpful waiters. I ordered mussels, my husband was going to order another dish. The waiter suggested a different fish dish due to the season, and it didn't disappoint. The Moules were fantastic and plenty of them, the hot apple pie after was sublime. A small... More

Stopped in for some drinks. Decent selection of hot and cold drinks. Service and prices were OK. It is well located near the canals and hotels. Short walk from the square. Souvenir shops and restaurants all around.

This was just round the corner from my hotel and was nice and close for dinner one night in the rain. The inside is a small neighbourhood bar with a covered area outside. There were only a few visitors there as most of the people were locals playing cards or eating buckets full of mussels. I chose scampi and garlic... More

my message to the manager/owner of this place is: make sure your employees take a bath and wash themselves on a daily basis. or at least use some sort of deodorant. our table was waited by a 50 y.o. guy. when he came to serve us the stench was unbearable. also, it is not appropriate to touch a dog and... What we liked about this place was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Yes we were told that we could not have chips on their own BUT we shared a salad and a plate of chips with our beers and everything was great. The waiter was honest because we asked about his mussels to be told that they were... More
