If you are interested in a charming restaurant on the water with beautiful views and great service, this is your place. However if you're expecting phenomenal food, not so much. The food was very average, not special. The prices were above average however, (example: a liter of water is 10€).

This restaurant doesn't only have the best Flemish stew in town, but also has the most beautiful view in Bruges! The restaurant, besides the indoor area which is super cozy and tastefully decorated, also has a large patio overlooking the canal where you can also dine, The owner was very friendly and attentive. Great service! Be sure to make reservations.... More

We had a three course meal and bought a bottle of wine. We had two beers. It was 23 euro each for the food , and 46 euro for the drinks, the beer was strong though. We thought it was good value overlloking the canal.

This restaurant opened in 1985 but the guildhall in which it is housed dates back to the 15th century and it was restored in 1650. It is on one of Bruges's waterways, the way we discovered it. We found the food excellent but expensive. The service was good although this restaurant, 165 seats in four rooms, can fill up in... More

Visited for a meal we knew would be expensive. We both had the slipsoles (small Dover sole) which were delicious, and served with proper Belgian fries...yum. Good wine and lovely Belgian chocolate mousse. Cosy atmosphere in a historic building with beautiful views over the canal. Service was friendly and efficient. Very expensive but very tasty food. No vegetarian options.

Arrived at the restaurant shortly after 7pm and was shown to a table. Lovely atmosphere although service was really slow. It would have been nice to have been offered a drink whilst looking at the menu but it took a while to be able to place the order despite only three tables being taken. When the food came, though, it... More

After arriving in Bruges that evening we walked just a few minutes from our hotel and had a glorious view of the canal, belfry and 500 years of awesome architecture and this place was in the middle of it. So we went in by pure chance - we didn't look at the menu, we just went straight in as it... More

My boyfriend and I went here for our first meal in Brugge on a quite Thursday evening. The restaurant is on the canal with amazing views and full of character inside the restaurant. We decided to go for the set menu and were not disappointed! Both food, wine and service was excellent. Recommend a visit!

We had a very nice meal here last weekend. The service was great, very pleasant and helpful. We went for the set menu which was a bit limited and (compared to the meal we had the next evening) a little bit pricey, though the price was pretty reasonable for this touristy part of Bruges. The food was really nice, well... More

This restaurant is good for lunch. It didn't have a huge amount of atmosphere so I am not sure how good it would be in the evening. The mussels were excellent as was the fish soup. The Guinea-fowl was also excellent. The steaks were good.
