My husband and I are on a short break to Burges. Saw this restaurant on Trip Advisor and the reviews were good. Had a wonderful meal, the owner/waiter was very helpful in explaining the dishes. The food came quickly and was beautifully presented. Thank goodness they did a mini version of some of the puddings. If you are in Bruges... More

I am an American military officer working for NATO, who was lived in Belgium for two years. In that time, I have never heard something as rude as what was said about my visiting family while I was showing them Bruges. At this restaurant, which was otherwise pretty good food, my brother innocently asked me about tipping in Belgium as... More

We decided to sit outside and eat at this little restaurant which was near our hotel. The food was good, the service slow as the waiter was rushed off his feet! I ordered the rack of lamb which was cooked to perfection while my husband ordered a fish dish. His came in a Chinese steamer with 3 layers and each... More

We found this restaurant via different website that highlighted eateries used by the local people of Brugge - we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The owner/waiter is very friendly and the menu is a mix of Italian and Asian with a local dishes in the mix too. I'm vegetarian and ate a superb Quorn stir fry that was full of flavour... More

The best little bistro we have been to in our 2000 miles road trip. Welcoming staff and wonderful, simply cooked delicious food. The homemade spring rolls are a must! Could not recommend it enough!

My favourite restaurant, serving interesting dishes. How the chef produces such excellent dishes in a tiny kitchen is beyond me. Arnaut, her husband who waits on the tables, is attentive, helpful.the food is Flemish with Asian undertones, or Asian with Flemish undertones - as I said, interesting, but always delicious.

This is a small restaurant just of the main square. Its cosy inside and the seating is comfortable, but best of all the food was superb and the service was very friendly. Hopefully visit again.

Something different from the regular bouef, moules and frites. It's a tiny spot with maybe 20 covers just off the main square. Very welcoming, lovely food and seemed popular with the locals. Very relaxed and we ended up whiling away 3 hours at lunchtime!

Many years ago, I had the pleasure of living in Bruges while on a project for work. Den Amand became one of my favorite places. The service in this small jewel is attentive and friendly. The food was outstanding. A charming place. About 8 year's later, a friend and I decided to return to Bruges for a trip and I... More

Out of several good meals, this was far and away our best meal in Bruges. It's a small place, so it would be a good idea to get a reservation, but we got lucky and walked in. The menu had a variety of options, including some seasonal specials, so it was easy to find something appealing. And the service was... More
