Was lucky enough to stumble across this little gem while walking into Lagos for a couple of drinks. We saw a few customers eating some food outside and decided to book a table for dinner later in the week. Was by far the best meal i had in Portugal during my two week stay and highly recommend the Fillet steak.... More

Visited here on a recommendation. Booked in advance for a table of 5. Took us ages to find this place & had to get directions. Eventually down a quaint cobbled street we found it. A small, quirky place. Greeted by the owner Ken, a very chatty Londoner who was listening to dance music & swigging from a box of wine... More

Small but enchanting. Excellent hosting by Ken, amazing food, best lamb chops I've had in Lagos, and the flaming sausage is great fun. Will need to book if you don't want to miss out

We saw the restaurant as we were coming up from the car park below it , we liked what we saw and looked it up on TA and then booked a table . Having read all the feedback it had to be either the grilled fish or a steak . We both went for the fish of the day and... More

We have been to this restaurant every year since it opened. It always feels as if we are at home. Ken and his staff always make you welcome and the consistency and quality of food has never waivered. We love the grilled fish and the Black Pork from the BBQ as well as the meatballs and Flaming Salami. The Key... More

This was recommended by a couple we met in another retaurant. You would never find it unless you chanced upon it or knew of it. It seves up most food from a BBQ at the front door and the fish and steaks are, quite frankly, perfect. The owner and staff did us proud and the atmosphere was wonderful. It is... More

First time visit even though we have had a property in Lagos for almost 10 years. Nice relaxed atmosphere. The steak was superbly cooked and washed down with a good house red. Not fine dining but worth a visit. Definitely a chilled place so don't dress up.

Lucky to get in without a booking. I don't normally write a glowing report but this place has a master chef I/C grilled fish. It was the best ever. Add in the owners choice of background music (Led Zeppelin etc) and a happy laid back atmosphere and it adds up to a night to remember.

Great charcoal grilled steaks or fish in an minimalistic environment, going back hundreds of years. Few seats indoor, reservation needed. Limited selections, but grilled to perfection. A different, but positive experience.
