We were welcomed warmly despite being very early at 1pm. Bread, water, pate and drinks quickly ensued. The menu consists of all the Local classics and we plumped for Cataplana with pork which was a superb choice having great cooking liquor and flavour, great feast for meat and fish lovers. Good local wines, good service and simple ambience. Come and... More

I saw some negative postings on this restaurant which I don't think are justified. This is a family restaurant on the way to Cape St Vincent. They don't have a lot of staff, but they have enough. Just relax, slow down, we are not in New York. The food here is really good home cooking. In Portugal, almost every restaurant... More

Fish looked suspicious so we thought we'll go for meat after 10 days of great seafood. We took beef that turned out to have a consistency of a bathroom carpet and chicken piri piri because I read somewhere it was a portugese specialty. Maybe. But not here. Interior as well as waiter remonded me of old Czechoslovakian bars on the... More

Perfect! I come very often in Portugal and the ''aroz de mariscos'' I have eaten in this restaurant is one of the best! The place is just on the road to Sagres and difficult to be noticed but it is worth a stop. Very nice homecooking with great quality

At exactly 21:53 we entered the restaurant and they told us that the cuisine was already closed (there were tables free). My question is, how can a restaurant like this in the middle of summer with some much tourists closes the kitchen at this hours...?

Location is bad, service is not special and we asked for spaghetti with shrimp and they were baby shrimp. Price was as in another better places in Portugal.

Our host in Sagres recommended us to visit this place and it was definitely worth it. Even though the restaurant is not apparently great nor has nice views, the quality of the food is very impressive. We ate "arroz do marisco" that was very tasty. Please bear in mind that the kitchen closes rather soon at nights (10:00 PM).

I'd never eaten by the side of a main road before, but this place is absolutely superb. Seriously, if you are anywhere near Sagres you MUST go here and just have the seafood rice for two. Ridiculously well priced at about €35 in total including a couple of drinks. Owner is really lovely and a genuinely lovely experience. Go go... More
