I always liked the place, so if you want to play safe, that is a good restaurant to bet on it! The waiters are very nice and the price is very good according to what you order.

Very helpful staff and great food! Even though it is very traditional food it does not seem dated at all! We felt welcome right from the start and the ambiente too was very convincing!

Very nice cooked food starting with the surprising soup and good salade. The main dishes were very tasty and large size.

Beautiful! Pear, banana, pineapple, courgettes, feijao, rice, beef. An abundance of flavour. Great quality at a very reasonable price. Lovely, humble staff. Three and a half hours away from Lisbon on a train - but loved it!

Delicious dinner. Kids love it too. Wonderful food, great wine and a traditional Portuguese. 'Javali à Caçador, 'Costeleta de Javali' were great. Owner is a nice guest.Highly recommended. We will be back

I had the deer little steaks with mushrooms sauce and my husband the boar (javali à Caçador). Both dishes were very good and as the boar was a dish of the day, the complete meal includind drinks was only 12,50eur ( but there were other dishes that the complete meal was only 7,50 eur). We had a spinach soup as... More

Had wild boar, pork and bacalhau dishes. Nothing special, a bit disappointing after reading the TripAdvisor ranking.

Had an incredibly delicious meal. All 4 of our party thoroughly enjoyed our traditional Portuguese meals as well as the ambiance and the hard working family who proudly served up the home made meals.

We had almost given up looking for a restaurant. Town seemed very quiet and nothing was open. Then we found this place. We were not keen at first on the hunting theme but decided to give it a try although we avoided ordering game. My picanha was a delight:steak with rice and black beans, plus grilled vegetables and fruits, pineapple,... More

Wonderful food, great wine and a traditional Portuguese welcome all combined to make an amazing evening out in Castelo Branco. Nothing was too much trouble with other restaurant goers helping to explain and translate the menu for us. Highly recommended.
