Despite the looks from outside the food is actually pretty good. I've been there a couple of times and will return for sure. Lunch menus are at great price and the Indian beer is not so bad! :) Will return for sure!

This had a been a hotel one side is now Indian the other side Portuguese. As Indian food is a rarity in Portugal we tried this eatery. Had chicken xacutti + dhansak + Nan pulao race. No side dishes as menu was expensive. Both lots of chicken were tough sauce was bog standard No atmosphere but Indian restaurant dont anyway.... More

Being a vegetarian, it was tough to find a vegetarian place in Coimbra. However when we discovered this place - it was a blessing. The food was wonderful and flavorful. One con - avoid the kulfi. It wasn't that great. Everything else was great.

I've been here numerous times, the latest being in a group. The service has always been very good, with the waiting staff attentive. The menu offers a wide variety of Indian cuisine and also offers some Portuguese dishes for those who do not want Indian. I've always had a good meal here and have never left dissatisfied. It is now... More

We have lived in Portugal 6 years and have walked past this place so many times but never ventured in as it looked so uninviting from the outside. What is the saying..never judge a book by its cover!! The same goes for this restaurant, it is great inside, the food is good, the staff are good and we will definitely... More

If external appearances were the only criteria to judge a restaurant on then you would walk straight past! Tatty curtains, unclean windows and old faded menu cards. But we had heard good reports so, undaunted, we entered. If you are able to recall the 70's and 80's in England, every Indian restaurant, and there were many, all seemed to have... More

Staying locally our check on trip advisor showed highly recommended Indian restaurant close by. We were warned not to be dissuaded by the exterior which proved to be very accurate. Staff were friendly and welcoming, Comprehensive menu, excellent quality and very reasonably priced. Would certainly return and recommend to others.

We were a group of 9 staying in a nearby hotel and came upon this nice restaurant. A friendly welcome, varied menu and well prepared and presented Indian food. Reasonable prices and good service. Don't be put off by the shabby exterior of the building.

The food is truly amazing and the staff is friendly. The problema is about the place itself, cause it doesn't have natural light and the decor is a bit "heavy".

Had an absolutely fantastic meal here the other night. All of the dishes were amazing, the service was flawless and the ambiance was perfect. Do not be put off by the look of the building from the outside.
