We were just arrived in Coimbra, and looking for a piace to have breakfast. So we found this cafè by the igreja de santa cruz!! Really nice and with a great view on the square. A lot of pastries and good coffees 😋

We went here to see a free fado concert and we were very glad we did. The singer, Diniz, has a great voice and the two guys playing the guitar did a great job too. The cafe used to be a church. Not to be...More
We chose this place for afternoon coffee and tea based on its TA ranking. I was very impressed with the building (although it's not wearing too well), but the coffee was a real disappointment - my least good to date in Portugal, even making allowances...More

Great people watching from patio. One waiter ran his ____ off but couldn't keep up. I sat for over 20 mins before I got a beer. The sandwich was amazing for its meagreness. Inside space looks lovely. More staff as well.
