After a week in Cascais and searching tripadvisor for places to eat I came across this little place. Had great reviews, but we'd been to places with great reviews previously and they really didn't live up to them. However, Dom Pedro did! It's off the beaten track up a side lane ( across the main square from the Irish pub... More

We arrived just before opening and very soon realised that this is a hugely popular restaurant in Cascais. It's tiny with only 4 outside tables, and incredibly busy for the very fact the food s excellent. We were fortunate enough to get an outside table, and made to feel very welcome by a lovely waiter who spoke brilliant English. The... More

My dad and I ate here for dinner and the food was lovely. My dad had the salmon and I had the rump steak. Both were excellent. The waiters were friendly and helpful and very tolerant of my broken Portuguese. One tip - you will need a reservation as they turned many people away while we were there. I would... More

Great food with a young enthusiastic owner running the show. This gem of a restaurant is tucked away on a side street and is full of charm. The food is delicious and the portions generous. It's only a matter of time until this place get on a TV show!

Opens at 7 for dinner and it was almost full within minutes, book if you want to be sure of a table. Good service . Food is simple but well cooked and they are happy to make variations without putting up the price, e.g. Swop potatoes and salad for chips and veg. We had swordfish and octopus rice with pear... Unpretentious small restaurant with tasty but really inexpensive lunch 'menu', with or without soup and dessert, though only one dish available (fried squid rings). A la carte reasonable choice of meat and fish dishes. My steak, salad and chips fine, as was chocolate mousse. Friendly efficient service.

Cannot feel more welcomed. Dom Pedro exceeds the established benchmark for steak and merriment. Portuguese flavours leapt relentlessly towards my yearning heart. Whilst understated, Dom Perdro dazzles and delights. Steak must be ordered but variety manifested appropriately. Fish available excelled alongside Crustacea. Astounding price/quality ratio, irrespective of generous portions. Josh Groban. X ps the waiter/ host was tremendous.

We were very fortunate to have stumbled upon this restaurant. We were off the main road and stopped in looking for a local restaurant and we hit the jackpot. The place is small and was full of locals, We were extremely lucky that they were able to accommodate us. The food was the best we had over the course of... More

We had lunch here yesterday based on the reviews here on Tripadvisor, the food was simple and well cooked. The restaurant itself is fairly small and the waiter that looked after us was great. Lunch for 2 adults and 2 children was 40 euros :) mains and desserts + drinks Well worth a visit
