Superb selection of food and wine to choose from, Fresh fish (not taken from an aquarium). Not the cheapest place around but certainly one of the best. Very firendly and knowledgable staff. Highly recommended

I believe this restaurant is owned by Dna Lurdes. Friend of my parents but I didn't want to introduce myself as I wanted a nice meal without imposing. It's not the cheapest but it's well worth the extra. Will be going back with friends next time am in Portugal. Recommend

I just went a walk round the town at night with an idea to stop for a bite somewhere on the way and this place looked much more authentic than most of tourist traps close by. Luckily the first impressions were later confirmed: this place has a real reputation and solid history - there was quite a display of photos... More

Good food in Cascais. Many fish based dishes to choose. The food was good as the service. There are many traditional fish based dishes which is nice. It was a good experience.

You can choose from lobster crab fresh fish. All very delicious. The waiters Felipe and Carlos are the best. The restaurant next-door is also very good too it's the same owners. And we went to both and they're both worth returning to

With Lobster and Giant Crab Starter followed by Market Price top White Fish mains, Sole Turbot Sea Bass, this meal was letting our hair down, not that we have much left. Despite the bill we ran up it met with the approval of the group. I don't know if it is the best place around but it takes some beating.

What a delight! So many restaurants in the world get mixed up in the simplest of things! Here, all is amazing because everything is kept simple. The grilled fish platter is memorable: each fish cooked to absolute perfection! There arr abput 5 different offerings on the platter, from bass to squid. All grilled, all devine. The swordfish carpaccio as a... More

We ate at El Pescador twice on recent visit to Cascais. Initial welcome and joviality from the waiters was most relaxing and professional. Essentially a seafood restaurant, you would be foolish not to opt for one of the many fresh seafood options available on the menu, Live seafood is on offer from the 'fish tanks' for you to choose your... Good menu specialising in fish but other dishes are available also. Service was ok. Great range of fish on offer, some of which is really expensive. Not a place to visit if you are on a budget - however, if you really like fish, give it a try
