Goan food iis original from Goa region in India were there was a long established Portuguese community. This restaurant presents a big variety of dishes and the ones I had the pleasure to taste were all very tasty, well cooked and well presented. The quality and variety is very far-ahead from the normal Indian restaurants. The restaurant is very small... More

If you enjoy homemade quality Indian/Goan food then this is the place. Very small possibly less than 20 covers. It is situated in a narrow street 5 minutes from Rossio. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. When we told one of the staff at the hotel we were going there he recommended the prawn samosas. They were sensational as... More

This is a cosy spot and the food was delicious. The prawn and meat samosas were excellent and wish I could have ordered more but they were Euros 1.50 each, so had to leave space for the main dishes too. The prawn and okra curry was just fantastic white steamed rice. The fried mackerel with reichad masala was tasty but... More

Amazing food - service and vibe - To have such amazing Goan food in Portugal is truly an experience - Chicken Xacuti was the highlight along with Goan fish curry - Chapati is super good and have it with one of the white wines - Hard to find but worth the adventure - Highly recommended -

Wonderful little place in Lisbon serving excellent goanese food. Slightly difficult to find but well worth the search - would recommend to anyone looking for Indian food in Lisbon.

A hidden restaurant has not so much space, but the menu offers lots of different dishes. I went there with my friends and we shared the dishes, which was a great option for someone like me, who has never tried Indian food. Although I'm not a big fan of spicy food, I have to admit I really liked the dishes.

Visited this Goan restaurant last night at Mouraria in Lisbon. situated on a tiny typical street, this minuscule restaurant was a great surprise featuring an exquisite Goan menu, starters were super and so was the pork vindaloo. Value for money! highly recommendable!

My Family (Husband, teenager Child and myself) visited Portugal recently (November 2016). We were told about Tentacoes De Goa by our taxi driver who drove us to the Shrine of Fatima. We visited this restaurant for dinner and were really taken by shock to know that people do eat such flavored and spicy food. The food was amazing, my son... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Castelo, Alfama & Mouraria
Explore narrow streets and alleyways, small cafes and, of course, the internationally acclaimed Fado music. The earth-shattering Great Earthquake of 1755 destroyed most of the city but the contiguous neighborhoods of Mouraria, Castelo and Alfama remained standing to this day. These neighborhoods represent Lisbon at its historical best. The cool breeze of the Tagus river will take you up the hills to the sound of Fado, where you'll discover the best "tascas," eat delicious fresh fish and drink great wines. Discover hidden viewpoints and ancient traces of other civilizational ruins in the heart of the Portuguese capital. These are centuries-old neighborhoods that will welcome you to the very best of old Lisbon culture.
