It's a small restaurant, easygoing, the specialities are meat and fish on the grill. We had: Shrimps as entry (good) Bacalhau na brasa com broa (good and not oily) Octopus (very good) Desserts: Chocolate mousse (too sweet and ugly presentation) Bolo de bolacha (too much butter, not very good) Drink: white sangria (very good) Coffee not very good Total 47€,... We were here ten years ago and found this place when riding the #28 tram. It was love at first smell, then bite. We ate there twice back then and three times this year. Their grill is the absolute best. Grilled chicken, steak, fish - it is all great.

Checked table linen made the interior inviting and the two gents who served were amiable and informative about the food, wine and St.Martins day. We shared a dish of garligy prawns and an octopus salad. Both very good as was the wine. We were then led to seasonal chestnuts and a special fortified wine for St Martin. It's the little... More

This restaurant came recommended by locals as "local food for locals for local prices". It was however rather disappointing experience. Our waiter seemed rather confused and our simple request of three glasses of apple juice for the kids turned into an odyssey. We had two dishes that were tasty - grilled octopus with chickpeas and potatoes and grilled chicken with... More

We were touring Lisbon and were looking for a nice place to have lunch. The waiter was very attentive and the food was excellent! The first room is a little warm, but if you are seated in the back room it is a lot cooler.

Very disappointing. Service ok but nothing special. Food of only average standard - very oily. Price above average. Buyer beware.

The waiter provided great care and concern and also made excellent wine recommendations. The food - cod with onions and chips was excellent too.

Typical portoguese fishrestaurant. Reall quality fish, ambiance is ok, but not great. Price-quality is great. Stick to the local food. Nice local wines and great service. Will recommend this place!

Staying in Graca & Sao Vicente

Neighbourhood Profile
Graca & Sao Vicente
You can be thankful that most common travel guides don't mention Graça and São Vicente that often. Part of Lisbon's historic center and "Old Town", they feel like independent villages in the capital's center, and more untouched than Alfama. Amazing views, restaurants and parks, as well as important monuments like the S. Vicente Church and the National Pantheon, make this a spectacular option for those looking for a more tranquil walk-around in the center of Lisbon. Graça has been the choice of many younger people over the past years, both nationals and expats, given the cozy feeling of the neighborhood and its hidden secrets.
