good music & large portions - but even larger bill for drinks which were presented as on the house, then appeared on the bill. zero inflexibility from the staff. be prepared to be ripped off.

having never heard Fado being performed live before, it was something I was keen to experience on our visit to Lisbon. I spent much time researching Fado restaurants prior to traveling to Lisbon & after much research ( TA, Time Out, Times etc) , I...More

The restaurant creates a wonderful Fado experience. The food is nice, a bit more expensive compared to other restaurants but as you get a wonderful Fado performance, this is acceptable. We had the pleasure of listening to 3 Fado singers with the last one having...More

Bottom line - the music is not worth the price. This was the worst culinary experience we had in Portugal. My recommendation, if you want to hear Fado on Sr. Vinho, come for only for Fado and reserve places for good food in a different...More

Probably the best recommendation I received about Lisboa. The restaurant provides a warm almost intimate ambience, which enhances the Fado experience. Great singers, Very very polite and helpful staff. Nice selection of wines and more than adequate servings of food.

This restaurant and Fado experience were recommended by someone that had just returned from Lisbon. I'm not sure if we caught the restaurant staff on a bad day, but it was one of our worst travel experiences! While the restaurant ambiance is very good, it...More

One of those rare instances when a taxi drivers advice on choice was perfect. The driver told us this was the real deal when it came to Fado and he was spot on. The food was good as was the service and reasonably priced when...More

Nice signer and good settings, however, the waiters were so horrible. It would be a nice experience without those horrible waiters.

Show is good, food is good and plenty, wine-not so good, at least the white dry we were recommended. Prices a bit high but in the end did not have the feeling of rip-off, others have experienced in this kind of fado restaurants.

Hi Mimi, I would recommend getting a taxi or Über, both should not cost more than 10-15 euros You can also catch Tram 28 going west towards Bairo Alto and walk last 10 minutes or so from the tram stop Enjoy Lisbon

We paid approx. £50 a head - 3 courses + house wine (the white was very good). You do get excellent Fado music which I can thoroughly recommend as well.
