Was brought to this place by a friend and thoroughly enjoyed the meal! Great fish, pork and seafood rice & the price was really affordable as well. Would def recommend. Oh and the best sangria I've had the whole time too!

I hesitated whether this is 4 or 5. In general, I would rate this 4, but taking price/performance ratio for this one I would give it a 5. Having really good and very rich lunch (overdone, 5 dishes for 4 persons) for merely 40 EUR including a bottle of decent wine, jee, you can't find the better place here. Delicious... More

I followed the waiter.s recommendation and ordered the grilled Cod fish in garlic sauce. It took at least 30-40 minutes until it arrived. The taste was disgusting. I had much better tasting fish in Lisbon for a lower price. The soup was fine, though.

TripAdvisor brought as here for a late evening. The place was almost full, very noisy, personnel not speaking English..but when the food arrives, everything is forgotten! Everything seems very fresh, the quality-price is amazing. I tried the seafood rice, the onion Bacalla and the fish cakes. Food for two, wine, coffee-27 euros! Beat that if you can.

We were brought to this restaurant by our tuk tuk driver and so glad she did. At the end of a delightful tour it was getting late for lunch and we wondered where to go, thankfully we got dropped off and a table was secured. The place was packed, it was one step away from having a queue so to... More

We were coming down from the castle, and were trying to avoid all the tourist monstrosities and we hit the jackpot with this one! The menu has a variety of Portuguese and Asian dishes, I ordered the chicken curry, and the company the steak and the rice with cod and shrimp, all absolutely delicious. The prices are shockingly low, but... More

I live right up the street from this place and it is a weekly favorite. The food is always excellent and the prices are unmatched. When the lines get too long we order for take out and the portions are massive. Excellent service from the staff.

If you have ages to wait for service go ahead. Food was fine for the pricetag, but had to wait ages for service.

A great little restaurant tucked away on a little side street. Delicious food, fantastic sangria and really cheap prices. It can get a little noisy and crowded but it's worth it for the good food, good service and reasonable prices.

A bit hard to find but seafood variations are absolutely worth to try. The same for pork in coffe sauce. Prices low - for a two person's dinner less that 30 e.

Staying in Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores

Neighbourhood Profile
Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores
A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site, Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply "Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake construction, having been rebuilt following the 1755 earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the Áurea, Augusta, Prata and other famous streets, the imponent Praça do Comércio and its Arch, the luxury shops along the Avenida da Liberdade, this is the beating heart of the city center. The Baixa also grants easy access to trains leading to Sintra, the trams that go around the Castle hill, old neighborhoods or even take you to Belém, and Lisbon's traditional restaurants and cafes. Considering a visit to the Fashion and Design Museum (free entrance) and don't forget to try the famous liquor, "ginjinha"!
