Had an evening meal & a lunch here we liked it so much. The fish soup is absolutely gorgeous, as were the sardines. We loved the atmosphere and, unlike a lot of reviewers, enjoyed sitting close to other customers who we enjoyed talking to - very friendly. Need to arrive before 7.30 pm if you don't want to queue!

This restaurant is a place really loved by both Lisbon citizens and tourists. It has a excellent selection of meat that is grilled right in front of you. The service is rapid and the prices are really law considering the good quality of the meat. It could be a lit' bit disappointing waiting outside the time a table is available,... More

We passed this place while out having a walk and I noticed the chicken being grilled over charcoal as we walked by and thought I must come back and try that dish. I was not disappointed. The chicken was amazing and my wife had terrific sardines. Delicious. I had a nice large beer and my wife had a large glass... More

It's a small and unpretentious place near Bairro Alto, frequented mainly by locals. The food is very good. They serve many traditional dishes (seafood, fish, bacalhau, leitao), and a few good wines. We've been twice and tried different dishes and we were very happy. The staff is very helpful, they speak good English and the prices are very good, so... More

Recommended by the hostel staff. Close to the town centre. Recommend their Grilled Octopus and Grilled Grouper! So nice. My husband personally love their soup so much. Well, don't expect for 5 stars services if you only pay for the comfort price.

This is a great first stop in Lisbon. My friend had piglet which included the jaws (and teeth!!) and I had peri peri chicken. Very traditional meal, exceptional value. It was packed locals so we figured it must be good. It won't blow you away but it is definitely a good taste of Lisbon.

We arrived in Lisbon on New Year's Eve wanting to get some late lunch, walked past Casa da India and saw the chicken on the grill, so decided to try there. We had to wait a little as they were quiet busy. Of course we tried the grilled chicken as well as seafood. Whilst we were there a plethora of... More

There was a short wait for a table, which was all family style with lots of people at one table. It looked like a typical diner, but the dinner was delicious, and they had lots of unique foods. We had sardines, sea bass, and cuttlefish. The cuttlefish was unique, but the rest of the food was great.
