The meal was OK and the waiters certainly sold the drinks and starters well but it was extremely pricey for what it was. We had better meals for a lot less money so probably wouldn't return.

We wouldn't normally eat in restaurants in main squares but decided to give Cafe Nicola a try. The waiting staff were rude and 'tricked us' into starters.... 'I will bring you some cheese and sausage to go with your bread' as well as 'here you...More

Food ok. Not to our liking but other guests seemed to enjoy their meals. Waiter very friendly. Fado show was our attraction. We did not understand one word, but the two guitarists were wonderful. Singers tried hard and other guests were enjoying the performance. For...More

We would normally avoid main square restaurants because they don't rely on repeat business. Consequently they often fall short of less touristy sites. On this occasion we couldn't find anything and chanced it. We ordered two mains and a bottle of wine. The waiter brought...More

We had a brunch there,,, coffee and mousse and rice pudding! Overall it was OK. Price was a bit high which I think it is because of their location

Do. Not. Go. Here. I don't normally write a review if I feel apathy about a place I've been, and I don't want to hurt anyone's business, so I only write a bad review if it really deserves one. This place, thanks to my waiter,...More

We went in here the first night as it was close to our hotel. The food was good, reasonably priced and the waiters friendly and helpful. Decided to go back and we weren't disappointed. There is plenty to choose from to suit all tastes. It...More

A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site,
Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply
