If there is a rule or 'etiquette' in the hospitality industry is that you never disturb a customer with the intention to make more money. And this is what this place is all about. Greedy or unconventional, Tease is in fact a completely overrated experience in Lisbon. Surprisingly, because Portugal is a country with such an amazing culinary, delicious food... More

We came for some dessert. Could have come here for breakfast or lunch though. Staff was so nice! They speak English and they do have an English menu. We were seated and given menus. In total, we ordered 2 cupcakes, one huge slice of red velvet cake, a juice that was red....detox? I can't remember...its the berry one, a berry... More

The decoration and coziness of Tease is more then enough to stop by this place. But once you taste the delicious cupcakes, natural juices, brunch menu and cakes you just want to make sure they always have a table waiting for you. Try it and you'll see what I mean.

We went here 2 times during our holiday and maybe tomorrow again for a breakfast menu. You can get a Felix breakfast menu here for only €5. The interior is well thought off and really cute. Vintage mixed with retro, kitsch and art. It gives a really cozy feel and you just want to enter this place. This cafe also... More

Cosy cafe in Lisbon. A breath of fresh air offering great cakes and watery coffee. Some room for improvement on the coffee front but a good place to hang out.

What else do you want? My only complaint is that the internet was lagging but everything else was perfect.

This cafe definitely has a personality. It has a great feel, the staff are friendly and it's good value. The cakes looked fantastic but we were there for breakfast. Someone knows, understands and loves their food here. The coffee was good once I'd asked for it to be hotter. My only criticism is that the menus were worn & tatty.

Friendly staff who speak good English. Lovely cupcakes, coffee and home made lemonade. As others have said this isn't a place for locals but a nice stop for travellers in a friendly neighbourhood.

Lovely cafe with a refreshing fresh menu, and a massive break from the laminated picture menu that lisbon is full of. To see people comment that it is expensive is crazy, my only 1 complaint is it is a little slow. In a nice part of the alto with other options near by. Would def recommend

Love, love love the atmosphere, so cozy and easy going with super friendly staff and lovely dishes. Not only are the cakes, and cupcakes out of this world delicious but I even ordered a birthday cake which received rave reviews. The soup, sandwiches, coffees, reason are all excellent. I have frequented many times for the top notch 5 euro deal, toast... More

Staying in Principe Real

Neighbourhood Profile
Principe Real
From the splendid garden and its cafe-kiosk to its restaurants, Príncipe Real is more than worthy of a visit and it won't let you down: its attractions include "Pavilhão Chinês" (one of the more eccentric interior designs you'll ever see), museums and a fantastic botanical garden. It's also a commercial neighborhood, and you can visit a renovated Palace, home of the Embaixada (embassy) trendy shopping center with its cafes, art galleries and luxury shops... and even if you don't buy anything, take a look inside just for its marvellous interiors. On top of this, Príncipe Real offers a variety of places to eat: if you're in a hurry, drop by "Pizza a Pezzi"; and if you're not, taste the delicious Honorato hamburgers, Argentinian cuisine at La Paparrucha and also great, delicious Portuguese food at Tascardoso!
