Great choice...after Antonio's ( Madragoa Cafe's owner) tip, we went to TREMP. Better take a taxi or Uber. Real Alentejana gastronomy. Best flavor, great service. A place to keep in mind and to visit time and time again!

Four of us visited this restaurant last Friday, having reserved a table a few days earlier. We were tempted to walk out within 5 minutes of arriving as the waiter 's attitude can only be described as surly. He almost threw the menu at us and from there on it was downhill all the way. We have no complaints about... More

Lunch in an area of Lisbon which was new to us. Great meal - tasty starters, grilled pork and veal with the house red - very good value for money (veg was included), efficient service and a nice atmosphere. I understand why it is so popular!

Upon arrival you are quick to be seated an welcomed, which is lovely, bread on the table, then more and more small dishes begin to arrive, not ordered, but you will be charged for even if you don't eat them. All very salty and greasy. The wine was sub par for the area, more akin to a sweet vinegar. And... More

It is a restaurant that you fill at home, it is a restaurant where you feel at home, the atmosphere is familiar because from the cook to the employees are all one family, has a good choice of wines, the desserts are optimas and varied, should try to Siricaia, sweet traditional Alentejo . The food is simply divine, not fail... More

We got there about 5 minutes before opening time and was not to politely told to come back in five minutes. When we got back we had a reasonable meal. But have had better at a small family run cafe/restaurant around the corner for half the price. As in many restaurants in Lisbon If you do not want the starters... More

Trempe is a good tasca (typical unpretentious Portuguese restaurant) in Campo de Ourique, a nice area, not really known by tourists. They serve food from Alentejo. The fish was good, and I had the famous pork meat with clams and potatoes. Good wine.
