Ate here with friends on a short break and had a terrific evening. It's a lively place with a great buzz, although none of that intrusive loud music that can ruin conversation. Food was terrific - my tuna with vinegary potatoes was sublime. Others had giant red prawns, steak and sea bass. All were excellent. A good place for people... More

The food is great and the starters that are set out on the table are delectable. We had octopus and it was stunning, one of the best we've ever had. Everything else is delicious and it's a great location for business. Overall 4 stars as the service was really slow.... Otherwise it was really good

The house dish - baccalao in bread crust - is really something. Go for it without any hesitation. Unfortunately it is immersed in oil, a condition that is shared also by the other dishes as the octopus. The appetizers are also not that great.

We went here for a nice family dinner. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The food was of a good standard with ample portions. I highly recommend this place and will be going back for lunch today (the day after dinner).

I've been there only once, but everything was top-notch (do not expect a Michelin guide restaurant though). From the moment when I step in, 'til the final moment, I have only one regret: I wasn't able to eat everything! I ordered a bacalhau (code), as being highly recommended by a Brazilian friend of mine, and I must say that it... More

Very good restaurant, a good value for money. They serve very well cooked dishes and with generous quantity. Excelent deserts also.

Two of us walked in Pateo on Friday evening. The waiter was very friendly and explained the dishes and wines. We had the John Dory which was very delicious and sea bass which was ok but not very tasteful honestly. Also had a bottle of white wine - Borba from Alentejo region which was very good. Finally we had a... More

Friendly staff, very nice portuguese meals. Loved the decor, it was very original. The price is not the cheapest but also not incredibly expensive.

We've eaten here twice--it was recommended by our nearby hotel staff--and loved it both times. The wait staff is highly professional and the food is superb: we've tried octopus, rice with duck and baked grouper, all succulent. And it is very reasonably priced.

Staying in Parque das Nacoes

Neighbourhood Profile
Parque das Nacoes
This neighborhood was built up at the end of the 1990s mostly because of the Expo '98. The pavilions and structures that once were the home of all the Expo's attractions and exhibits are still culturally and artistically significant. In Parque das Nações you'll explore conference and concert pavilions, a shopping center, trendy restaurants and an enjoyable cable car ride you can't miss out on. On top of this, the amazing Lisbon Oceanarium (one of the most spectacular things you'll ever see in the city) will take your breath away: its respect and will to preserve natural wildlife is uncanny. Easily accessible by metro, bus or taxi from the city center, Parque das Nações is highly recommended for anyone who'll spend more than 3 days in the Portuguese capital.
