Nice tapas at the Bairro Alto historical quarter. Service is rather chaotic and prices are excessive for what they are offering

HORRIBLE SERVICE - When we told the waiter that we would like to start with 2 tapas, he didn't seem to be happy. I thought this can't be true, so I asked if he was okay with it and he mumbled 'no' and he looked away. From then on he was pushing us to hurry up and make room for... More

This is a place I like to go, once in a while. Offers nice tapas and good selection of wines (the house wine is more than enough - both red and white). Nice tables outside and a room very well decorated with photographs of actors and show biz people. In my opinion, prices are too high for the quality and... More

Came upon this place whilst walking around looking for another restaurant, it was bustling and seemed to have a good vibe. The other restaurant was full and would not help us without a reservation so we came back and saw a space, the waiter fitted us in and the space between tables was tight, really tight but the food was... Prices like overseas! Don't take anything you didn't order - it will cost you a lot more than it is worth. o,4 beer costs you 5 Euros!!! next door you get it for 2,40! never again! good point: staff is friendly.

The experience was not bad, but the place is clearly overpriced. The first room when you enter the restaurant is a smoker room. Heavy air and hard to breathe. The non smoking room is a closed space in the end of the restaurant. No view to the outside... You have much better options close by

Nothing more to add, really. Also just stumbled upon the place after being lost in the rain for an hour. They charged me €11 for a gin & tonic and the place was so packed that the woman at the table next to me had to get up in order for us to be able to leave. Food wasn't bad,... More

STAY AWAY!!!!! You've been warned, this is a stereotypical parasitic tourist trap that preys on the english-speaking (and therefore presumably foreign-ers). Oh, and that aside, the experience is pretty terrible too. So, my boyfriend and I were seated immediately when we stepped into this busy restaurant that we happened to stumble across. Ravenous from the million uneven/stone hills that line... More

Dropped in to have a drink. We ordered drinks and were given dinner menus. When we told the waiter we only wanted a drink, he did not seem pleased and made us move to the bar. This happened even though the place was half-empty. Not friendly and not coming back. Avoid.
